I am looking into a brush hog for my TC29D w/Hydro tranny, I would like a 5' hog but was not sure if that would be too big or not since I have lower PTO HP with hydro, Let me know what you all think.

Thanks,

MIke

It is all a matter of what and how fast you are cutting. I cut 1 acre of tall (3ft) grass and small brush (1.5" dia.) in about 50 min.. Slowed to a crawl in really thick stuff. I have a 5' Ford bush hog for my TC25D and the tractor lifts it and runs it with no issues. This cutter is really heavy duty with a clutch - and weighing over 550 lbs. ....
